In spite of the record temperatures, Trevor Dolan completed the 2007 Flora London Marathon in 4 hours and 34 minutes.

Trevor said: 'When I was a student nurse I cared for a maths professor who had aphasia following a stroke. He showed great courage and determination in fighting back and with the help and support of speech and language therapists, not only regained his language but his self-esteem'.

Trevor raised over £2000 for Connect.
