Our supporters

Drama teacher Scott Wallis, 27, took part in his second marathon to raise money for Connect because our cause is particularly close to his heart.

Scott said: 'My girlfriend's nan had aphasia after she had a brain haemorrhage and for a long time she couldn't speak at all, although her intellect was intact.  I'm supporting Connect to help people like her.'

Scott finished the 2006 London Marathon in 3h55min.
