Legacy

Give someone their life back

Leaving a legacy isn't a decision to be made lightly.  We appreciate that.  Naturally, most people's first thoughts when making or amending their Will is to provide for their loved ones.  For Connect to be remembered alongside a person's family and friends is very special – and very powerful, whatever the size of the gift.  Along with other donations, gifts in Wills enable us to:

  • Develop effective long-term therapy and support services
  • Provide groundbreaking resources, including publications and training
  • Transfer do-able ideas to NHS staff and other professionals
  • Improve the quality of life for people living with aphasia

A growing need

As the UK's population ages, the number of people with aphasia continues to grow - and the need for Connect is growing too.  By remembering Connect in your will, you could provide a lifeline; not just for people living with aphasia, but for their friends and family members, NHS staff, social care workers and grass roots community volunteers.

It really could make a remarkable difference.

Making a profound impact

No one plans for aphasia.  It often comes abruptly – the result of a stroke or a sudden head injury.  It's learning to cope and adjust that takes the time.

The journey 'back to life' reveals a need for Connect at every turn.  We are the only organisation dedicated to creating new opportunities and a better quality of life for people living with aphasia.

By remembering Connect in your will, you could help us to continue our pioneering work – and help more people with aphasia to reconnect with life.

That's quite a gift.
