Peer Support for People Living with Stroke

This project looks at how to enable people with aphasia and their relatives to support each other in living with stroke and aphasia

Working together with service providers, service users and other community contacts across Lambeth & Southwark this project is developing a stroke peer support scheme.

The project is training people living with stroke to become peer support visitors. These peer supporters will visit other local people with stroke to support, encourage and help them re-connect with life again.
