Sussex Community Trust tackled the issue of offering cost-effective long term support to people with aphasia by working with Connect to set up a befriending scheme.

Dorset Stroke Network used The Communication Access Toolkit successfully to train staff working with people with stroke and aphasia across 3 acute hospitals and 10 community hospitals improving their confidence in communicating with people with aphasia.
