A warm and generous welcome....from Nunney to Castle Carey

A long hot day through forestry commission land - no photos today as really not good enough lighting for a quality picture. And no villages until I reached the Sun Inn at Bruton at 3pm. I was so hot and exhausted when I arrived that the locals enjoying a quiet pint at the bar organised a whip round to support the walk! Then on to Castle Carey where again at the George Hotel the regulars took pity on me and also contributed to the cause -  so the heat exhaustion was worth it after all.
